China ASEAN digital economic cooperation year opens

The opening ceremony of 2020 China ASEAN digital economic cooperation year was recently held in the form of online video. The theme of this cooperation year is "gather wisdom and gather strength to fight the epidemic, mutual benefit, win-win and development". The two sides will jointly hold a series of activities in the fields of smart city, big data and artificial intelligence, share their experience in digital epidemic prevention and anti epidemic, digital infrastructure construction and digital transformation, tap the cooperation potential and share the development dividend of digital economy. Chinese Minister of industry and information technology and ASEAN Secretary General spoke at the meeting respectively. Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Chun Phu, the rotating chairman of ASEAN, sent congratulatory letters to the opening ceremony.
