Yesterday, at the invitation of Xiamen University, Attorney Cui Shu of our firm conducted a half-day training session for 50 attorney representatives from the Kunshan Lawyers Association, Jiangsu Province. The lecture, titled "Status Quo, Challenges, and Solutions in the Management of Foreign-related Legal Services," provided an in-depth exploration of the complexities in the field.

In recent years, driven by the deepening development of the national "Belt and Road Initiative" and the ever-evolving international economic and trade landscape, Chinese enterprises have continued to accelerate their "Going Global" strategy. Consequently, the provision of foreign-related legal services has become an indispensable imperative for the growth and advancement of attorneys and law firms across the country.

During the training session, Attorney Cui Shu provided a comprehensive analysis and professional interpretation of legal affairs related to investment and M&A in ASEAN, focusing on the current status, operational challenges, and potential solutions for foreign-related legal practice. By examining the drivers and development trends of Chinese enterprises' overseas expansion, Attorney Cui illustrated the increasing diversification of legal services and the growing complexity of client needs. He shared valuable insights with his peers on the core competencies, industry expansion, and future development paths for foreign-related lawyers in the current geopolitical climate, earning unanimous acclaim from the attendees.
